Tasting note:
Originated from Capanna Vineyard located in north west of Montalcino. The natural isolation along with altitude and the presence of clay shale and marl (Galestro rock) give to this prestigious wine a refined elegance. Fermentation took place at controlled temperature for 18 days. Ageing in French oak casks and barriques for 24 months. The wine is finesse and elegance. Complex and rich on the nose, notes of small red fruits with hints of aromatic herbs including thyme and bay leaf. The palate is fruity with notes of plum. The finish has an interesting acidity notes that give remarkable balance, elegant and persistent. Wine meant for long aging.
